INDICATIONS
A broad-spectrum disinfectant formulated for use in livestock, poultry, and aquaculture environments. Effective against bacteria, viruses, fungi, and mycoplasma. Suitable for farm biosecurity, water system sanitation, vehicle disinfection, and aquatic environments including fish farms and hatcheries.
Mode of Action
VIRKOLIFE contains potassium peroxymonosulphate, a powerful oxidizing agent that disrupts microbial cell walls, denatures proteins, and inactivates essential enzymes. This oxidative action leads to rapid destruction of pathogens including Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, viruses, and fungi. It remains effective even in the presence of organic matter.
Directions for Use
Prepare fresh solution before use and apply after thorough cleaning.
- General Disinfection: Dilute at 1:300 and apply via spray.
- Vehicle Disinfection: Use at 1:125 dilution.
- Aerial Disinfection: Apply at 1:250 dilution.
- Foot Dips / Wheel Dips: Use at 1:150 dilution.
- Water Systems:
- Drainable systems: 1:250
- Non-drainable systems: 1:1150
- Apply using low-pressure spray ensuring full surface coverage, especially cracks and corners. Allow proper contact time before rinsing if required.
Targeted Animals
Poultry, Cattle, Sheep, Goats, Fish, and other livestock.
Contraindications
Do not mix with other chemicals. Avoid inhalation and direct contact with skin and eyes. Use protective equipment during handling. Harmful if swallowed and toxic to aquatic life in concentrated form.
